Rs 1.27 crore approved for construction of Kopra reservoir feeder canal

Feeder canal will be constructed from Chakarbhatha distributor canal to Kopra reservoir of Arpa Bhainsajhar project of Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district. For this, approval of 01 crore 27 lakh 85 thousand rupees has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdeo Cachar Bilaspur by the Ministry of Water Resources Department. RD of Chakarbhatha Distributor Canal. With the construction of feeder canal from 60 liters to Kopra reservoir, the designed irrigation capacity of this reservoir will meet the irrigation deficit of 435 hectares at present, besides supplying water for irrigation to a total of 1295 hectares.
