To review the implementation of various schemes of the Central Government in the district, a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Evaluation Committee (Disha) was held in the Collectorate’s meeting hall today under the chairmanship of MP of Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Chunilal Sahu. Shri Sahu instructed to implement the centrally sponsored schemes according to the time-limit and target. He stressed the need to pay special attention to the availability of roads, electricity and water in Mainpur and Devbhog areas of the district. Special emphasis was laid on monitoring to ensure that all the farmers registered under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi get the honor amount regularly. During the meeting, the Health Department was appreciated for better care and service for the patients suffering from Corona during the Corona period.
The meeting was attended by the MLA of Bindranavagarh area, Damrudhar Pujari, District Panchayat President Smt. Smriti Thakur, Municipality President Shri Ghaffar Memon, District President Smt. Lalima Thakur, Shri Bhagirathi Manjhi, Collector Shri Nileshkumar Kshirsagar, Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Shri Sandeep Agarwal, Additional Collector Shri. JR Chaurasia, District Officer and other members were present in the meeting. MP Mr. Sahu held detailed discussions with the officers of the district and various departments through video conferencing and asked the departments to execute the work with full accountability and timeliness. District Panchayat CEO Mr. Sandeep Agrawal apprised Lok Sabha MP Mr. Chunilal Sahu about the progress and activities of various schemes going on in the district under various schemes. While emphasizing on continuous monitoring of the works under construction in the district, Lok Sabha MP Shri Chunilal Sahu said that regular repair of Mainpur, Devbhog and rural roads should also be done. The roads which have been more than five years should be re-proposed for repair. Member of Parliament Shri Sahu directed to take necessary measures to make arrangements for reaching the pension amount to the social security pensioners at their homes. The Collector informed that the amount of pension is being given as per requirement through Ghar Reach Service through BC Sakhi. It will be further expanded. He directed to strengthen the continuous supply of solar or electricity for the shortage of water in the forest areas. Vegetable seeds, mini insects and fruit plants were given to the Horticulture Department to the farmers on time. Member of Parliament Shri Sahu said that many public welfare schemes are being run for the betterment of the people and to empower them economically and socially. It is the responsibility of the officers of every department to make successful implementation of these schemes with complete transparency. Along with this, he also inquired about the difficulties being faced in the implementation of the incomplete works. In the meeting, various schemes including Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme, Deendayal Antyodaya Livelihood Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Skill Development, Swachh Bharat Mission, Digital India, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Soil Health Card were reviewed. was done.
