All formalities of Sarvamangala-Imlichhapar road have been completed from Hardibazar. Now, within a week, necessary preparations for the road construction and actions will start at the administration level. Shifting of power lines and power poles will start within a week. Along with this, notices will be issued by the administration to remove encroachments on both sides of the road. Collector Kiran Kaushal reviewed departmental-wise preparations and actions taken so far for construction of this road in the meeting of officers in the collectorate assembly room. Municipal Corporation Commissioner S. Jayawardhan, Additional Collector Priyanka Mahobia, Katmora SDM Abhishek Sharma, Public Works Department Executive Engineer AK Verma and SECL Gevra General Manager SK Mohanty and SECL Kusamunda General Manager RP Singh were also present. In the meeting, the Collector took information about the encroachment on the roadside from Imphalpur to Imlichhapar via Sarvangala.
He directed the Irrigation Department and the Corporation Administration to issue notices from their level on the allotment basis of the land to remove the encroachment. Kaushal directed the revenue department officials to initiate the action to remove the encroachment elsewhere. Officials of the Electricity Department told in the meeting that the work agency has been selected from the tender issued for the removal of about 77 power poles and line for road construction. Removal of electric pole will begin in a week. The collector also instructed the officers to shift the electrical transformers coming in the middle of the road to the appropriate place. The Collector also instructed the officers of PWD and PHE to make necessary arrangements to maintain water supply during road construction. Collector Kaushal also instructed the officials of the Municipal Corporation and SECL Kusmunda and Gevra Management to conduct the pipeline shifting work for road construction.
