The villagers of Mana Basti have accused the operator of cutting half a kilo per capita rice by setting in a weighing machine in the government fair price ration shop. Today the representatives of the panchayat and the villagers together revealed this entire scam. The weight of 35 kg of rice was found in the second fork in the second fork. After which the villagers got angry. On the complaint, the police reached the spot and took action to seize the weighing of the ration shop.
After discussing the matter in the Panchayat Sabha today, the sarpanch sent a letter to the police station to seal the ration shop. Villagers said that additional 3 rupees are taken from the beneficiaries for not only rice but also for sugar, in which the quantity is less than one kg. According to the information, there are about 1700 ration cards in Mana Basti. There is a provision to give 35 kg of rice with a ration card. Villagers told that this series has been going on for 20 years. Whenever a voice was raised to give less ration, the operators used to send them out.
Sarpanch found true complaint
Sarpanch Sunita Bais said that there was a complaint of frequent disturbances from the beneficiaries. The panchayat representative was sent for the report, in which the complaint came true.
