Raipur, March 28, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, today attended the Gondwana Social Marriage and Mass Wedding Conference held in Balodabazar and blessed 44 newly married couples, wishing them a happy married life. This event, under the auspices of Adivasi Dhruv Gond Samaj, Khallari Mahakaleshwar, was conducted with traditional Gondi customs at the new Agricultural Produce Market complex.
Chief Minister Shri Sai began the program with prayers to Lord Budha Dev and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He said that events like mass marriages promote social unity, cooperation, and values. They are not only financially helpful but also set positive ideals in society.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai provided checks for financial assistance and essential marriage materials to the newly married couples under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana (Chief Minister’s Daughter Marriage Scheme). He blessed each couple and wished them a happy and prosperous married life. On this occasion, he said that the government’s aim is not just to provide assistance, but also to participate in social responsibility. This scheme has emerged as a support for economically weaker families, enabling them to perform marriages with dignity according to their traditional customs.
New Initiative in the Field of Education: MOU for Coaching
On this occasion, an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between the district administration and the Nuvoco Cement Group with the aim of providing better facilities to the students of the district for preparing for competitive examinations. Under this, students will be provided with the facility to study in advanced coaching institutes outside the district. At the event, talented individuals doing excellent work in society were also honored.
Chief Minister Shri Sai Enumerated the Achievements of the Government
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government has fulfilled most of the promises by fulfilling Modi ji’s guarantees. He said that 1.8 million new houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme). Women are becoming financially empowered through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana (Mother’s Vandan Scheme). Senior citizens are getting the opportunity to go on free pilgrimages through the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme.
Considering the demands of the Gond community sympathetically at the event, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced ₹20-20 lakh for the construction of community buildings in Balodabazar and Khallari-Suhela.
The program was also addressed by Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, MLA Shri Tuleshwar Netam, District President of Gond Samaj Bhagbali Dhruv, and many public representatives. On this occasion, Zila Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, Janpad President Sulochana Yadav, Municipal President Ashok Jain, Dr. Sanam Jangde and Lakshmi Baghel, K.P. Pradhan, Anand Yadav, Vijay Kesharwani, Collector Shri Deepak Soni, Senior Superintendent of Police Vijay Agarwal, officials of Gond Samaj, and a large number of common people were present.
