Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey informed that under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, 1843370 farmers were registered in 2019-20, who were paid Rs 451159.79 lakhs, while Rs 111628.89 lakhs are yet to be paid. 2161725 farmers have registered in 2022-21. The minister said that under the scheme, provision has been made for budget provision. At the same time, it was clarified that it is not possible to tell the fixed time frame for payment of paddy balance in the Kharif year 2019. The process of registration of various sown crops notified in the year 2020-21 is under process, on which the input assistance will be paid in installments from the amount provided in the budget for the financial year 2021-22.
