Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana: All categories of land owners and forest lease holders will be eligible

Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, run by the Chhattisgarh government, for the purpose of increasing the income of farmers by reimbursing the cultivation cost of the crop, increasing the crop diversification, production and productivity in the state, a guideline has been issued regarding the implementation of the provisions applicable from Kharif 2021. is. According to the guidelines issued today by the Ministry of Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Department of Biotechnology, Raipur, all categories of land owners and forest lease holders will be eligible under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Institutional land holders, regaha, sharecroppers and farmers doing lease farming will not be eligible for this scheme. Under this scheme, from Kharif 2021 along with paddy, farmers producing maize, Kodo-Kutki, soybean, tur and sugarcane will be given input assistance amounting to Rs.9000 per acre per year. In the year 2020-21, the area from which paddy was sold by the farmer at the minimum support price if he would have planted Kodo-Kutki, sugarcane, tur, maize, soybean, pulses, oilseeds, aromatic paddy and other fortified paddy, banana, papaya instead of paddy. If he does plantation or plantation, then he will get input assistance at the rate of Rs 10000 per acre. Input assistance will be given to the farmers doing plantation for 3 years.
To get the benefit of this scheme, farmers have to register. Registration can be done from June 1 to September 30 on the portal of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, jijcherudhdhadal.bh.db.pd.
This scheme with the objective of increasing the share of agriculture sector in GDP by making more investment in agriculture sector in the state and restoring it as a profitable business will be implemented in all the districts of the state from Kharif 2021. The implementation of this scheme will be done at the state level by the Commissioner and Director Agriculture and at the district level by the Deputy Director Agriculture under the supervision of the Collector. Under this scheme, the registered farmer will have to get the verification of the application filled in the prescribed form along with the photocopy of his necessary documents like loan book, B-1, Aadhar number, bank passbook done by the Agricultural Extension Officer. The farmer will be able to get the acknowledgment from there by depositing it in the concerned Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Society within the stipulated time period. The registration of joint account holder will be done in the name of numbered. For this, the concerned farmers will have to submit the consent-cum-affidavit of all the account holders and other necessary records along with the application form. Input assistance will be transferred to the account of the registered farmer number. The distribution of which will be done by the account holders with mutual consent.
For determining the area of ​​crop covered under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, only the data of Girdawari maintained in Bhuiya portal will be used officially. Farmer wise, measles wise coverage of all the crops sown will be done by the Revenue Department through Girdawari. If any error or variation is found in the figures of Girdawari, the work of correction will be done by the Revenue Department as per the prevailing instructions and procedure. If there is a difference between the area recorded in the revenue record and the actual area sown by the farmer, action will be taken as per rules by fixing the accountability of the concerned officer and the supervising staff.
