Protection of tribal interest is the first priority of the state government: Minister Shri Lakhma

Industries and Excise Minister Shri Lakhma reached village Chintalpur of Konta block of Sukma district today. This remote village of Vananchal is 44 km away from Nagar Panchayat Dornapal. Minister Shri Lakhma reached here by road and met the general public. On the demand of the villagers, he sanctioned Rs. 2 crore for Kanya Ashram in Chintalnar, Rs. 20 lakh for community hall and Rs. 6 lakh for Durga Samiti building. While discussing with the villagers, Minister Shri Lakhwa said that the Chhattisgarh government is working on priority for the benefit of the tribals. The protection of tribal interests is the first priority of the state government. Continuous work is also being done by the government to protect the water, forest, land belonging to the tribals and to protect their rights. During the discussion, he also discussed about the development of road facilities, transportation facilities, uninterrupted power supply etc. Minister Shri Lakhma today met at Chintalnar, Mukaram, Burkapal, Temelvada, Puswara, Kankerlanka, Pollampally and other places. During the meeting, District Panchayat Vice President Bodu Raja, District Panchayat members Smt.
