Prompt implementation of the instructions of the Chief Minister: Continuous inspection of all procurement centers is being done by the district level officers for safe maintenance of paddy.

The instructions given by the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel to save the paddy from rain in the procurement centers are being implemented expeditiously. Keeping in view the sudden change in weather and rainfall, all the procurement centers are being continuously inspected by the district level officers through the district collectors and all necessary arrangements are being made for the safe maintenance of paddy. Cap covers have been installed to protect the paddy from rain and drainage arrangements have been made. Instructions were given by Chief Minister Mr. Baghel to install cap cover to save paddy and make arrangements for drainage to drain water in the procurement centers. Through the control room set up at Markfed Headquarters, all necessary efforts are being made in coordination with all the districts and Apex Bank for better and safe maintenance of paddy. Even before the start of paddy procurement in the state, an amount of about Rs 65.86 crore has been released to all the cooperative societies for proper storage and storage of the procured paddy. Advance payment of about Rs. Adequate and proper arrangements should be made. Apart from this, an amount of about Rs 47.46 crore at the rate of Rs 9.00 per quintal has also been transferred to the committees under relevant expenditure. In this way, adequate funds amounting to about Rs 65.86 crore have been released so far to the societies for proper and safe maintenance of the procured paddy. Apart from this, to ensure the safe storage and storage of paddy in the committees, the supervision fee at the rate of Rs 5.50 per quintal is paid by Markfed to Apex Bank, so that their field staff will also monitor the safe keeping of paddy in the committees. – Ensure maintenance.
