All government / non-government colleges, engineering and medical colleges, ITI and polytechnic colleges in the district are eligible for distribution of post-matric scholarships conducted by the department to the students of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes, colleges due to Kovid-19. Due to delay in admission and delayed declaration of examination results, process of acceptance and distribution of applications for post-matric scholarship (from class 12th to higher) for disadvantaged students for academic session 2020-21. The Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department said that in the year 2020-21, by 01 July 2021 for online application (new and renewal) by the student, by 03 July 2021 for locking the draft proposal, till 05 July 2021 for locking the session order and KYC. And the last date for submission of proposal has been fixed till 07 July 2021. Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development informed that in the year 2020-21, last opportunity is being provided to the students deprived of scholarship. In the year 2020-21, the students who have applied earlier, please do not apply again. On re-application, necessary action will be taken against the student and the institution as per rules. After the due dates for the session 2020-21, the students and institutions are not given permission to register/draft/acceptance and if the students of the respective institutions are deprived of the scholarship, then the head of the institution will be automatically responsible for this.
