The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in collaboration with National Informatics Center and IIT Madras has developed an Integrated Road Accident Database Mobile App and Web Application to analyze the real causes of increasing road accidents across the country and take necessary corrective measures and control accidents. . The data uploaded on the application will be very useful for future action plans for road safety through the concerned departments Police Department, Transport Department, Highways and Health Departments. Knowing the exact cause of accidents in various roads of the state, reduction in accidents is possible due to taking necessary corrective measures. Under the guidance of Shri IG Sarguja, Shri Ajay Kumar Yadav, SDOP Manendragarh Shri Rakesh Kumar, DSP Korea Smt. Kavita Thakur and DIO Korea Shri Sukhdev Patel, training of Integrated Road Accident Application is conducted at regular intervals. Inspector and investigator level police officers were present in different police stations of all the districts of Surguja division, officers of Korea and MCB district also participated in the training program.
