Collector Mr. P.S.Elma inaugurated the two-day development exhibition today at Gangrel, a tourist destination of Dhamtari. On this occasion, the sarpanch of Gangrel, self-help groups, members of the Green Army, villagers and school children were present in large numbers to closely observe the public welfare schemes of the government. In the development exhibition, along with photographs, arrangements have been made for free distribution of brochures, pamphlets, booklets etc. related to the four-year flagship schemes of the state government, decisions of the government keeping in mind the interests of the beneficiaries. Taking stock of the exhibition on this occasion, the Collector said that it is public utility and expressed hope that the tourists visiting Ravi Shankar Reservoir Gangrel will also take advantage of it. He also said that it is a matter of pleasure for the villagers, children and women to reach the development exhibition site with enthusiasm. On this occasion, the Collector interacted with the school children and villagers in a very comfortable manner and inquired about their problems, demands etc. and also assured to take appropriate action. Arrangements were also made to show the live telecast of the Chief Minister’s address to the public near the camp site, which the villagers took full advantage of. Today, on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas, information about government schemes and achievements was given to the residents of the district by the staff of the concerned department in a program organized in the office premises of urban, rural Gauthans, paddy procurement centers, primary cooperative society. Along with this, brochures, booklets, pamphlets etc. related to departmental schemes were also distributed as far as possible. At the same time, in these places, everyone saw and heard the live telecast of the Chief Minister of the state Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s message to the public from 11 am and appreciated the achievements and beneficiary-oriented schemes of the government.
