Nitin Namdev, Raipur. Between Lok Sabha elections and Assembly elections in Odisha, BJP leader Sambit Patra made a controversial comment about Lord Jagannath and PM Modi, which has created a big controversy. Now Raipur North MLA Purandar Mishra said on his statement that Sambit Patra has not said anything wrong.
In fact, BJP leader Sambit Patra had said in a TV interview that Lord Jagannath is also a devotee of Modi. On this comment, today MLA Purandar Mishra said – Sambit Patra did not say anything wrong, there is a supernatural relationship between the devotee and God. Sometimes devotees take the name of God and sometimes God takes the name of devotees. The culture of Odisha is that God comes out to meet his devotees.
Sambit Patra’s tongue has slipped: Purandar Mishra
MLA Purandar said- God and devotees support each other. Sambit Patra may have slipped his tongue, but his sentiment was not wrong. I condemn those who do politics in this matter. The opposition is giving importance to such things, from this it is understood that they are losing.
Politics on the blessings of Lord Jagannath
Claiming BJP’s victory in the Lok Sabha elections, he said – God’s blessings are given to those who are with religion. Just yesterday Modiji had darshan of Lord Jagannath, BJP is a party that believes in Ram and Jagannath. With the blessings of Lord Jagannath we will win 400 seats.
Sambit Patra apologized
