On initiative of Chief Minister: FCI will sell wheat, traders and flour mill will be able to lift at the prescribed rate

On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Food Corporation of India will sell wheat. The traders and flour mills of the state will be able to lift it at the prescribed rate. With this initiative, wheat will be easily available to the common citizens at a fixed rate in the event of lockdown. Seven thousand 250 metric tonnes of wheat has been made available for sale in the state by FCI. The total quantity and rate of wheat has also been determined in seven districts of the state for the sale of this wheat. Wheat rate has been fixed by FCI at Rs 2135 and it has been fixed district wise along with transport rate.

A quantity of 900 metric tonnes of wheat has been prescribed at Mandir Hasaud in Raipur district, where wheat will be sold at the rate of Rs 2393 per quintal. Similarly, a quantity of 300 metric tonnes has been earmarked for Bilaspur district and will be sold here at the rate of Rs 2401 per quintal. 4000 meters of wheat has been made available at Vishrampur in Surajpur district, the same sale will be done here at the rate of Rs. 2368 per quintal. A quantity of 600 metric tonnes has been fixed in Raigad district, which will be sold here at the rate of Rs. 2458 per quintal. 150 metric tonnes of wheat available at Naila in Janjgir-Champa district will be sold at the rate of Rs. 2425 per quintal. The 300 metric ton wheat available in Jagdalpur in Bastar district will be sold at the rate of Rs 2468 per quintal. The 1000 metric ton wheat available in Rajnandgaon district will be sold at the rate of Rs 2394 per quintal.
