On BJP’s reaction on Mahant’s statement, Bhupesh Baghel said – BJP has misunderstood the proverb, violence is not in our thinking, full respect to the Prime Minister.

Raipur. The statement of former Chief Minister and Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Rajnandgaon Bhupesh Baghel has come on BJP’s reaction to the statement of Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant. He said that the BJP leaders misunderstood because they could not understand the Chhattisgarhi proverb properly.

Baghel said, “Whatever Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant said was said in the idiom of Chhattisgarhi language. Every person who knows and understands Chhattisgarhi language, which is rich in proverbs and is associated with Chhattisgarhi folk life, knows this. His intention was to break the pride.” Bhupesh Baghel said that BJP leaders cannot understand this idiom because they do not understand Chhattisgarhi language and culture.

Baghel said that despite this fact, Mahant has politely said that if it has been misinterpreted then he expresses regret. After this regretful light this controversy should end. He has said, “We are people of Mahatma Gandhi’s party. We neither believe in violence nor is violence a part of our thinking. We are people of non-violent ideology.” Bhupesh Baghel has said that as far as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is concerned, we want to defeat him democratically. Want to break their pride. We have no disrespect towards him. May they be healthy and live long.
