In the review meeting of District Level Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Collector Sunil Kumar Jain has issued notice to 11 Panchayat Secretaries for lax in the implementation of the scheme. He bluntly told all officers and employees that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana is an ambitious scheme of the government. The progress in the implementation of this scheme in the district is quite inadequate. We have to work in the development of Gothan by working at a faster pace. Also, the Gothan has to be converted into a multiactivity center.
During the meeting, Collector Jain, from the purchase of cow dung in Gothan, the process of their composting, their testing, packaging and proper arrangement of sales, including the status of fertilizer, availability of vermis, the work of bari, the work of women groups and the status of pastures including Viewed point wise Expressing deep displeasure over the nodal officers, including the Panchayat and Agriculture Department, the District Panchayat CEO has instructed to improve the system immediately, due to negligence in the implementation of the scheme.
Collector Jain on Friday reviewed the works of a total of 57 Gothanos including Gothan of 27 of Balodabazar, 27 of Palari and 3 urban bodies. District Panchayat CEO Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui has instructed the secretaries to ensure 100 percent entry in the online portal of cow dung being purchased under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. District Panchayat, Additional District Panchayat CEO Harishankar Chauhan, Joint Collector Tekchand Agarwal, Balodabazar SDM Mahesh Rajput, Deputy Director Agriculture Monesh Sahu, Panchayat and other officials of Revenue Department were also present during this period.
