UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has appealed to update all the Aadhaar issued and not updated during the last 10 years. Verification of Aadhaar is necessary to take advantage of schemes and facilities. Through new technology developed by UIDAI, Aadhaar has to be updated and re-verified. Camps are being organized in all Aadhaar centers for Aadhaar updation. Beneficiaries can update Aadhaar by taking POI and POA documents (PAN Card, Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport etc.) at their nearest Public Service Centers. A fee of Rs 50 has been fixed for updating Aadhaar. Collector Mr. Kundan Kumar has appealed to all the beneficiaries to update the Aadhaar card so that the benefits of schemes and facilities continue to be available uninterrupted.
