Naxalites cut off Awapalli-Usur road, called for a bandh calling the Pedia encounter fake…

Suresh Paratagiri, Bijapur. Ignoring the Chhattisgarh government’s initiative for talks, the Naxalites are busy carrying out their anti-development agenda. In this episode, calling the Pidia encounter fake, they have blocked the road from Awapalli to Usur and have called for a bandh on May 26 through banners and posters. In the pamphlet thrown by CPI (Maoist) South Sub Zonal Bureau, a bandh has been called by calling the encounter that took place in Pidia on May 10 as fake. Along with this, the pamphlet has called Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chhattisgarh’s Vishnudev government anti-tribal.

Bijapur Additional SP Chandrakant Garvana said that the road was cut at two-three places, as soon as we got information about it, our team reached the spot and repaired the road. With this, traffic has started on the road.
