With the efforts of Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, remodeling and lining work of canals has been done to increase its capacity to 100 cusecs. After completion of remodeling and lining work, the designed irrigation capacity of this scheme is 975 hectare. Along with 1023 ha. Additional irrigation facility can be provided. In this way the total irrigation capacity of the scheme will be 1998. Due to which 16 villages of Navagaon Kala, Patharikala, Bhatgaon, Parpodi, Tiriyabhat, Khurusbod, Jamgaon, Kohkabod, Budhwara, Basin, Deokar Tumdipar, Bagdumar Budera, Kamkawada and Sonpander will get the benefit of irrigation facility.Continue Reading
