Lakshika Sahu, Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai left for a tour of his home district Jashpur. CM Sai will participate in the state level school admission festival organized in Bagiya. Before departure, CM Sai talked to journalists at Raipur Police Ground. During this, on the demand of Muslim community to give the status of national animal to cow, he said that we are Sanatani people, we consider cow as mother.
Giving information about the tour, the Chief Minister said that the school admission festival was to be held on June 18 in Bagiya. But it was postponed due to the heat. Schools have been inaugurated in the state from June 26. Today is the school admission festival in Jashpur, Jashpur in-charge and Finance Minister OP Choudhary and MLA Khuswant Saheb are also going to attend the program.
Demand raised in Muslim Mahasabha to give cow the status of national animal
Muslim Mahasabha conference was organized in Raipur on Thursday. Senior people of Muslim community from all districts of the state participated in it. In the conference, Muslim community demanded to give national animal status to cow and to close all slaughter houses from the central government. Along with this, many resolutions were passed including better care of cows, bulls and other animals. Along with this, a CBI inquiry has been demanded on the death of three Muslim youths in Arang.
