Member of Parliament Shri Rahul Gandhi visited the Bastar Dome and exhibition stalls of Agriculture and Forestry etc. in the Science College campus of Raipur, during his stay in Chhattisgarh today. He also appreciated the Dantewada district of Bastar division, which is progressing towards becoming an organic district, while exhibiting the development activities while visiting various stalls. On this occasion, MP Shri Rahul Gandhi greeted the farmers of South Bastar (Dantewada) district by observing Dheki rice, white Amchur and various organic methods. It is worth mentioning that as per the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the number of minor forest produce to be purchased by the state government on support price in the interest of tribals and forest dwellers has been increased to 60. It also includes white amchur in 08 minor forest produce which has been increased from 52 recently. Under this, the rate for white mango is fixed at Rs 120 per kg.
