Higher Education Minister Shri Umesh Patel today launched the City Surveillance System at C-Mart and Police Control Room located in the Basic School premises of District Headquarters Balodabazar. He appreciated seeing the products kept in C-Mart. He said that in the times to come, this C-Mart would emerge as a mark of self-reliance. This will definitely increase the income of the members of women self-help groups. Turmeric, Chilli, Papad, Chips, Badi, Pickle, Mixture, Phenyl, Handwash, Washing Powder, Agarbatti, Dhoop, Dona Patal, Broom and Earthenware will be available in C-Mart. These products have been prepared by women self-help groups working in Aajeevika Center located in different Gauthan of the district. Along with this, various products of Chhattisgarh Herbal, the famous brand of Forest Department will also be available for sale in C-Mart. Parliamentary Secretary Shri Chandradev Rai, President Farmers Welfare Council Shri Surendra Sharma, former Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Chhaya Verma, District Panchayat President Shri Rakesh Verma, District Collector Shri Rajat Bansal, Superintendent of Police Shri Deepak Jha and other officials and public representatives were present on the occasion. City Surveillance System will be helpful in preventing crimes Minister Shri Umesh Patel reviewed the City Surveillance System. For this he praised the police administration. Under the City Surveillance System, high quality CCTV cameras have been installed in all the major squares, intersections and entry roads of the city. Due to which continuous monitoring can be kept on all the people, vehicles etc. entering and going out of the city. Apart from this, the traffic system of the city can also be edited through this system. With the installation of surveillance system, any type of serious crimes like theft, robbery, murder will be immediately reported to the police in the main road or Chowk intersection of the city and through this system it will also be very easy to identify the criminals.
