MGNREGA and departmental convergence have changed Badi Guhannala’s picture

With the convergence of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and other departmental schemes in Chhattisgarh, the land is being made incremental by leveling the land. With the convergence of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and other departmental schemes in village Guhannala, 8 km away from Nagri development block headquarter in Dhamtari district, the work was done to make it agricultural and fertile, apart from the bunding, weeding. As a result, today that land has not only become fertile, but has also become a source of income for the beneficiaries. Changes in the lives of 20 tribal families of village Guhannala, located 66 km from the district headquarters, began when the land reforms were done from MNREGA by fixing 29 acres of forest land they received in the year 2020-21. Subsequently, farm development was taken up from departmental convergence (agriculture, horticulture, CREDA, District Mineral Trust Fund).
