Maruti Suzuki: The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India has announced that it is going to increase the prices of its passenger vehicles (PVS) since 8 April 2025. This increase is being done due to input cost, operational expenses, regulatory changes and adding new features.

Grand Vitara up to ₹ 62,000
EECO ₹ 22,500
Wagonr ₹ 14,000
Ertiga ₹ 12,500
XL6 ₹ 12,500
Dzire tour s ₹ 3,000
Faronx ₹ 2,500
Maruti said that it is committed to reducing expenses and minimizing the impact on customers, but some part of the rising cost has become necessary to reach the customers.
What cars are sold at Nexa and Arena outlets?
Maruti sells its vehicles from two different channels:
Nexa Outlets: Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6, Invicto
Arena outlets: Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Eeco, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Ertiga
Significantly, in January 2025, Maruti had already increased the prices of its cars by 4%. Usually, vehicle manufacturers amend prices twice every year.
Other car manufacturers are also increasing prices
Apart from Maruti, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Kia India have also announced to increase the prices of their cars from April 2025.
