On the occasion of International Women’s Day, several programs will be organized by the Department of Women and Child Development in the capital Raipur. This event will start from 27th February till 04th March. State level Mahila Madai will be organized from February 27 to March 04 at BTI Ground, Shankar Nagar. Mahila Madai will be open for the general public from 10 am to 9 pm. In Madai, the products prepared by the women self-help groups of the state will be displayed and sold. Here a glimpse of women’s empowered steps and self-reliant life will be seen. A women’s bike/scooter rally will be taken out from Telibandha Talab at 7 am on February 27. Women’s safety and nutrition awareness workshop will be organized on March 1 from 9 am to 2 pm at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.
