Maize procurement in support price being done in 22 procurement centers of the district

Apart from the purchase of paddy at the support price, maize is also being purchased in the district. For this, 22 procurement centers have been set up. Such farmers who have produced maize and want to sell it at the support price, they can take it to the procurement center of their area and sell the maize. Collector Chandan Kumar informed that 03.03 procurement centers in Antagarh, Charama and Durgukondal development blocks, 02.02 procurement centers in Narharpur and Bhanupratappur development blocks, 04 procurement centers in Kanker and 5 procurement centers in Koylibeda development block were made for purchase of maize on support price in Kanker district. For purchase of maize at support price, Antagarh, Amabeda and Tadoki in Antagarh development block, Amora and Narharpur in Narharpur development block, Kanker, Nathianwangaon in Kanker development block, Pidhapal and Bardewari, Koylibeda development block, big kapsi, Koylibeda, Pakhandada, Banda In Kottarai, Lakhanpuri and Charama, Kodekurse in Durgukondal development block, Tunneldoh and Durgukondal, Korre in Bhanupratappur development block and maize in Sambalpur are being purchased. Maize growing farmers of the district can sell maize at the support price in the procurement center of their area.
