Rajesh Singh Rana, Director, SCRT, Joint Secretary, Department of School Education, has given instructions to make changes in the module based on the educational needs of the state in the School Leadership Development Training Guide for Principals. Responding to the question on whether the training is done online or offline mode on behalf of the participants, he said that online training can be done. Mr. Rana has asked whether a teacher can be prepared as a leader through this training. It remains to be seen whether the leader is innate or prepared through training. Is the role of a manager different from that of a principal in a school. These various things were discussed in the training. In the three-day program, while introducing the Transform School and School Leadership Program, the program’s approach and resources were discussed. Therefore, the modules produced by Transform School were reviewed in different groups along with discussion on the Principal Qualifications Framework. Introducing the School Governance Program, discussion was held. On the third and last day of the program, again the discussion on the modules, along with the discussion on the plan of training of the principal and the school management and development committee. The Sangwari module was also discussed. Along with this, the role and work of school leadership schools in environmental, water energy conservation were discussed and points of these subjects were fixed for training. In the State Council of Educational Research and Training, a three-day school leadership development training guide workshop for principals was organized in collaboration with Chhattisgarh School Leadership Academy and NGO Transform School. The objective of the program is to develop the capacity of the school principal in school leadership activities and to develop the capacity of the principals of government high school and higher secondary schools of the state in school leadership activities.
