Khadi Board’s first Khadi Naikoff Mart in the city was started by Rajendra Tiwari, Chairman of the Board. Khadi Gramodyog and Naikoff goods will be found in this mart, which started in Geedam Road of the city.
After inaugurating the mart, the chairman of the board Rajendra Tiwari said that this is the first such mart in the state, where Khadi, village industries and Naikoff’s goods will also be found together. He told that Khadi will no longer be confined only to government departments, but will be branded so that it can reach the common people.
He said that special discounts will also be available in goods here, in which 30 percent will be available on Khadi, 20 percent in goods of Naikoff and up to 10 percent on goods of village industries. During this Khadi Board MD Rajesh Rana, Deputy Director BP Banjare, Rohit Pandey and others were present.
During his stay in Jagdalpur, Rajendra Tiwari gave necessary instructions while reviewing departmental plans with departmental officers in the meeting of Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Jagdalpur, Sukma, Dantewada, Bijapur districts of Bastar division. During this time, pending cases have to be completed on the deadline and where the episode is less. Instructions were given to make more and more cases there.
He said that giving priority to the unemployed people living in rural areas, providing self-employment and working with the aim of selling the material produced by them in the market.
