The 41st India International Trade Fair has started from today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This time the pavilion of Chhattisgarh has also been decorated based on the theme of the fair ‘Vocal for Local, Local to Global’. On Monday, Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Managing Director (CSIDC) Mr. Saransh Mitter inaugurated the pavilion of Chhattisgarh. All Union Territories including 29 states are participating in the International Trade Fair to be held from November 14 to 27. In the fair, all the states will display their industrial, agricultural and handicraft products according to their progress as well as the specialty of each region. This year a pavilion of Chhattisgarh has been built on the hall no. A total of 12 stalls have been put up for display in an area of 300 square feet. Stalls of Village Industries, Self Help Groups, Handloom, Handicrafts, Herbal, Agriculture Department etc. have been set up on the concept of ‘Vocal for Local, Local to Global’. At the same time, the State Cultural Day will be celebrated on 21st November, where the folk artistes of the rich folk art and culture of the state will perform, the International Trade Fair was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal. This time the fair has been organized in a new modern exhibition hall in 73 thousand square meters, which is quite beautiful.
