International Day of Older Persons: Elderly needs more sensitive treatment: Mrs. Bhendia

Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia has greeted and greeted all the elders on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons on October 1. While wishing for a healthy and happy life of the elderly, he said that the elderly are respected members of the family as well as the society. The elderly need to be treated more sensitively. He said that International Day of Older Persons is celebrated every year to develop awareness among the general public about the safety, protection and respect of senior citizens. Smt. Bhendia said that it is the duty of every citizen to give an environment of respect and affection to the elderly for life. International Day of Older Persons will be meaningful only because of the sensitive-respectful behavior and sense of security towards the elderly.
