Also, the First Appellate Officer Hidayatullah National Law University has been instructed to take disciplinary action after receiving clarification under Section 20 (2) of the Right to Information Act 2005, to relax the discharge of duty. AK Aggarwal has reviewed the applications of Second Appeal Case No. A / 1317/2016, A / 1318/2016, A / 1319/2016, A / 1320/2016 and A / 1321/2016. He said that after hearing the appellant and the Public Information Officer under the Act, not providing information to the appellant even after 5 years is contrary to the section of the Right to Information Act. Public Information Officer (Section Officer) of Hidayatullah National Law University, Sanjana Dharmaraj has been directed to the Registrar Hidayatullah National Law University, imposing an amount of Rs. 300 as compensation under Section 20 (1) of Right to Information Act 2005 . It has been said that the amount of penalty imposed should be deducted from the salary of the convicted Public Information Officer and deposited in the fund.
