Divisional Joint Director Fund Accounts and Pension Shri K.S. Under the chairmanship of Marawi, a one-day workshop was organized for all the withdrawal disbursement officers of the district in the District Panchayat meeting hall on Friday. In the workshop, guidance was provided for choosing the option to take advantage of the old pension scheme or to continue with the new contributory pension scheme. Giving information about the action to be taken as a result of the implementation of the old pension scheme in the workshop, it was told that under the instructions issued by the Finance Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh, in place of the new Contributory Pension Scheme for government employees appointed on or after November 1, 2004, the old Pension scheme has been implemented. For this, a provision has been made for government servants appointed between November 01, 2004 to March 31, 2022, to avail the benefits of the old pension scheme or to remain unchanged in the new contributory pension scheme. In the workshop, all the drawing and disbursing officers were given information regarding entry and uploading in the Personnel Assets Portal before February 24, 2023, after obtaining options in notarized affidavits from all the government servants appointed between the said dates. Along with giving detailed information about all the points of the affidavit, the curiosity of all the officers and employees present was also resolved. On this occasion, Joint Collector Mr. T.S. Aggarwal, Mr. Deputy Collector J.R. Chess, Senior Treasury Officer Mr. Anil Kumar Sinha, Deputy Director Mr. Anil Kumar Tirkey, Assistant Director Mr. Ramnarayan Ram, Assistant Treasury Officer Mr. Manoj Sharma and Mr. Prakash Kashyap and drawing and disbursement officers of various departments were present.
