With the efforts of the state government and district administration, a radical change is taking place in the lives of the villagers of Sukma district. Industries Minister Mr. Lakhma said that during Salwa Judum, operations of ashrams, schools in the inner villages of the district had stopped. Closed schools, ashrams are being re-operated today, village schools are being operated in the village itself, which is paving the way for education in internal and Naxal affected villages. Shri Lakhma said that continuous development works are being done. Where there were no roads earlier, today there are shining roads. With the construction of roads, electricity system, infrastructure development, better education, health and other needs of the villagers are also being fulfilled. Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma was addressing the inauguration program of newly constructed Kanya Ashram building in Kankerlanka today. The Industries Minister said that the construction of 100 seater Kanya Ashram building at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 37 lakh will provide education to the girls of inner region including Kankerlanka. There will be an incentive. The girl students will be able to get education in a better environment by staying in the ashram. Basic facilities like ration card, Aadhar card, health card have been made available to many villagers through the convenience camp run by the district administration, in the past, the villagers who had problems in getting ration, today rice and other items are being given to them by making ration cards. Huh. On this occasion, Minister Shri Lakhma announced an amount of 10 thousand each to the dancers of Korrapad and Punapalli.
