In the implementation of Jungle Right Recognition, village committee is most important – CM Bhupesh Baghel

In the main hospitality of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today, divisional level workshop was concluded on the implementation of the Forest Rights Recognition Act in Divisional Headquarters Ambikapur. While addressing this workshop organized in the meeting room of the District Panchayat office, the Chief Minister said that the most important role in the implementation of this Act is the Village Committee. He told the legislators and other people representatives present in the workshop that they should study the manual of forest rights regulations and do their best. So that they can solve the queries of the villagers and the forest dwellers and their doubts instantly. He said that Forest Rights Recognition letter should be taken from MNREGA to make the land of beneficiaries cultivable. Those beneficiaries who are eligible for land cultivation should be benefited from agricultural credit.
In the workshop, the Chief Minister said that there is a clear mention of entitlement in relation to the recognition of Forest Rights in Forest Rights Act. He said that first of all the cases of community forest rights should be decided, after which personal claims should be resolved, it would be good for the forest, the village and the beneficiary of the three. The Chief Minister said that with the granting of Varanasi recognition letters, livelihood work should be conducted in villages and forests, which will benefit the forest dwellers.
Health Minister Shri T. S., who was present as a special guest in the workshop. Sinhdev said there is no end date for providing forest rights papers. The President of the Tribal Welfare headed by the workshop, Dr. Premasi Singh Tekam said that workshop is being organized to give information about the Forest Rights Act. This is a law. This is not a timed program. Under the prescribed procedure, the authority letter will continue.
In the workshop, the Chief Secretary, Mr. Sunil Kumar Kujur said that there is a need to give special attention to the Gram Sabhas level for the Forest Rights Letter. Primitive caste development department has been made nodal department for this. The provision to abolish the case of any applicant by the Gram Sabha is not in the Act. In the workshop, Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Mr. R. P. Mandal said that eligible beneficiaries should be given a lease and their livelihood should be improved. Forest Rights holders should get top priority in MNREGA work. The workshop was addressed by Shri D.D., Secretary, Department of Tribal Development. Singh, Parliamentary Consultant of the Chief Minister, Mr. Rajesh Tiwari also addressing the provisions of the Act of Forest Rights, while addressing them.
The President of Sarguja Development Authority, Mr. Khesai Singh, MLA Mr. Brohaspati Singh, Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Mr. Gulab Kamro, Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, Dr. Pritam Ram, Mr. Parasnath Rajwade, Mr. U.D.Minj, President of District Panchayats, Sarguza Commissioner Shri AK Tuppo, collector of districts of Sarguja division along with Collector Dr. Summary Mittar, Sub-Divisional Officer, Revenue and Forest Department, Revenue Division , Tribal and were scheduled development department.
