Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has said that Yoga has an important role in keeping people healthy and healthy. In today’s busy life, its relevance increases even more. Yoga keeps both body and mind healthy. Regular practice of yoga provides health protection. Mr. Baghel was addressing the inaugural session of the three-day state level Yogasan competition cum conference on the fifth foundation day of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission at Shaheed Smarak in the capital Raipur today. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the literal meaning of yoga is to join. It connects the seeker with himself. Yoga disciplines us and discipline makes us responsible citizens. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to provide a building in village Fundahar to the residents of the capital for regular practice of Yoga. Appreciating the yoga performance made by the participants of the Yogasan competition, he wished them a bright future. The Chief Minister further said in the program that Yoga is not collective, but individual. The nature of each person’s body is different. Under the guidance of a yoga instructor, following the rules of Yama, one should practice only asanas suitable for their body. He said that asana-pranayama should be practiced following the rules of Ashtanga yoga. It has a positive effect on the nerves, muscles and bones. The radiance of the face of the regular practitioner of yoga and his self-confidence are seen separately. Chhattisgarh State Yoga Commission Chairman Shri Gyanesh Sharma said that more than one thousand participants are participating in the three-day Yogasan competition on the occasion of the fifth foundation day of the Commission. On Tuesday 26th April, a program of Surya Namaskar and special yoga practice has been organized by 1000 yoga seekers in the premises of Pt. Ravi Shankar University. Juneja, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, MLA Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, members of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, Shri Ravinder Singh, Rajesh Nara, Satnam Panag, office bearers of various yoga institutions, instructors and yoga practitioners were also present.
