In Chhattisgarh, the implementation of the kindergarten program announced by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will be done from this session. For this, training will be given to Anganwadi workers and kindergarten teachers till June 15. Rajesh Singh Rana, Special Secretary, School Education Department and Director of SCERT gave this information while addressing the inaugural session of the workshop at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) today. Shri Rana said that how we can teach children better in the local environment, as a subject expert, practical education will be given to children of 5 to 6 years in the new education policy. This program will be successful in coordination with the Department of Women and Child Development and the Department of School Education. It has been decided in the Task Force Committee that the kindergarten program will be conducted in the Anganwadi. Mr. Rana said that such material is being prepared as per the suggestions given in the two-day workshop in the presence of eminent subject experts of the country. Which would be practical for kindergarten kids. For three days it will be told how to implement this plan. Additional Director Dr. Yogesh Shivhare told about the decision of the task force for implementation. He said how to bring children to kindergarten and make it attractive enough to prepare children for the 21st century. Children must get the opportunity of natural learning in the right direction here. In the workshop organized by SCERT for the implementation of the kindergarten program, two supervisors of women and child development department from each district including resource persons and representatives of APC and DIET of Samagra Shiksha were present. The inaugural session was inaugurated by Prashant Kumar Pandey, state coordinator of kindergarten along with in-charge Sunil Mishra. UNICEF’s education expert Chhaya Kanwar, SRC Women’s Child Development’s Rajkumar Khati, Aditya Sharma, Rishi Kumar Banjara also addressed.
