Regarding this, Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that Union Home Minister Shah will take a review meeting of the Law and Order Police Department to take action against Naxalites with full determination and strength in the state and create a suitable environment for the surrender of Naxalites. Regarding the development work in Naxal-affected Bastar, Deputy CM Sharma said that all facilities are being provided to the people of Bastar as per the plan. Clean water is being provided from bore wells, ration shops are running.

He said that we have come through the villages of Bastar, the minds of the people of Bastar have changed. Now everyone wants to return to the path of development. The people there have demanded the Chief Minister to start NREGA. Deputy CM Sharma said about the atrocities on women in Bilaspur, Surajpur, Raigarh that police investigation is going on seriously in every case. In the case of Raigarh, immediate arrests were made, one person was found dead. The investigation is still going on.
He further said that we should not compare the number of incidents that have happened. Still, the number of incidents in Chhattisgarh is less. The issue is that this should not happen. There is a need for public awareness and monitoring of police. Amit Shah ji is also going to review the law and order situation.
