Today, from the review meeting held at Thakur Pyarelal State Panchayat and Rural Development Institute, Nimora, the state Health Minister TS Singhdev inaugurated the dialysis center in Korba. After 5 districts Durg, Kanker, Bilaspur, Mahasamund and Bijapur in the state, Korba is the 6th such district where dialysis center has been established.
He told the Health Minister that for the first decades people of the district had to wander for dialysis 2-3 times a week. It also had to bear huge expenses, but now people of the area will be able to avoid these facilities after the dialysis center is built. He said that after this it is our objective to open dialysis centers in Jashpur and Surguja. With this, it is our goal to provide this facilities in the whole of Chhattisgarh.
Along with this, he spoke on universal health care and said that after tax from the general public, he should not be required to spend from his own pocket for health. We are working on spreading this scheme so much that it is available to the common man free of cost. Revenue Minister Jaisinghwal, National Health Mission Director Priyanka Shukla and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
