A meeting of the District Animal Cruelty Prevention Committee was held in Mahasamund under the chairmanship of Maha Mandleshwar Rajeshree Dr. Mahant Ramsundar Das, President of Chhattisgarh State Cow Service Commission. Gaushala and animal cruelty act were discussed in the meeting. The Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Mahant said that Godhan Nyaya Yojana and Gauthan is one of the ambitious schemes of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. The state government is working with a resolve to develop cows and cattle. The government is making all efforts for cow protection and cow promotion. Dr. Mahant informed that a proposal has been sent to the government to set up an animal hospital in all the districts of Chhattisgarh. In which incident, accident injured animals can be treated and cared for. He asked Deputy Director Livestock Development to identify the land plot in the district. If we all conserve the cow dynasty, we will be able to do it with goodness. He talked positively about the Gaushala and Gowthans with the members of the committee and said to cooperate as much as possible on behalf of the Commission.
