Now shops of fair price in Dhamtari district will be open from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm and on Sunday also during the said period. It is worth mentioning that Section 144 is applicable in the district for prevention, prevention and control of Kovid 19 infection and the lockdown is declared till May 31. In view of this, Collector Shri Jai Prakash Maurya has made a partial amendment in the working hours of all government fair price shops in the district to maintain the availability of food grains on their ration cards to consumers.
The Collector has directed fair price shop sellers to use masks, two yards, sanitizer and face shield to prevent Kovid 19 infection during shop operations. At the same time, emphasis has also been given to make all ration card holders present in fair price shops aware of getting Kovid 19 vaccine.
