Gothans play an important role in strengthening the rural economy: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that Gauthans play an important role in strengthening the rural economy. He said that Gauthans are being developed as centers of rural livelihood. According to the agricultural economy of Chhattisgarh, various schemes are being implemented to strengthen the economic condition of the farmers of the state. Mr. Baghel was addressing the convention of Balodabazar Raj Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj organized at the district headquarters of Balodabazar-Bhatapara today. On this occasion, he announced to name Mopka College after Late Ramnath Verma and additional arrangement for drinking water in village Tildabandha. In the program, he also honored 23 talented students on behalf of the society. During this, he also released the book Chitrotpala Premdeep written by Pushpa Verma. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel while addressing the convention said that Kurmi society is a progressive society. Meaningful steps are being taken to remove various anomalies prevailing in the society. Education is very necessary for change in any society. Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium Schools have been opened in the state to provide education in English medium to the children. We do not have to focus only on government jobs, we have to increase people towards business. He said that his government is working continuously to awaken the identity of Chhattisgarhia and save the Chhattisgarhi culture. Local Teej festival and food are being promoted, so that people feel proud. The Chief Minister said that after the formation of the new government in Chhattisgarh, the quantity of paddy purchased and the number of farmers is increasing continuously. At present, the area under cultivation has increased and people’s inclination towards it has increased. New sources of employment and income have started in the state through the Godhan scheme. who previously had no employment. They are also making profit by selling cow dung. Mr. Baghel said that the work of reviving the tradition of the village is being done by the government. Everyone’s participation is essential for running the plans. He said that the Rural Industrial Park would be built in all the Gauthans, the government was working continuously in the direction of realizing the dreams of Gandhiji. He said that we are developing Gauthan as an important center of rural livelihood, not only to collect cows and oxen. Along with vermi compost, local women are preparing all the things of local need including incense, incense sticks. They are also earning additional income by growing vegetables on the vacant land. Chovaram Verma, the central president of Kurmi Samaj presided over the conference. While addressing the conference, he said that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel is taking forward Gandhiji’s dream of village Swaraj.
