Free treatment of more than one lakh women in Dai-Didi clinics

Under the Dai-Didi Clinic scheme run by the Department of Urban Administration and Development, Government of Chhattisgarh, mobile medical units of Dai-Didi Clinic vehicles of women and girls living in poor slums of Raipur, Bilaspur and Bhilai Municipal Corporation areas near their homes. A team of women doctors reaches here and provides free treatment for various diseases of needy women and girls. The hard working women living in poor slum areas are unable to get their treatment due to many reasons. Such women are now being treated by Dai-Didi Clinic near their home. Under the Dai-Didi Clinic scheme, about one thousand 405 camps have been organized so far, where more than one lakh 4 thousand 485 women have been treated.
