    Raipur, April 16, 2025/The newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited, Shri Rajiv Agrawal, assumed his office today at Udyog Bhawan in Telibandha. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai extended his congratulations and best wishes to him. The Chief Minister expressed hope that under his leadership, CSIDC will work better in creating an industrial environment in the state. Shri Rajiv Agrawal has held many positions. His experience will give new heights to the industry. The new industrial policy in the state will lead to the development of the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that investment proposals worth Rs 4.50 lakh crore have been received at present. The sufficient availability of minerals, electricity and water in the state will provide opportunities for industries to flourish.

    With the vision of providing all necessary facilities in one campus to sector-based industries in Chhattisgarh State under the Department of Commerce and Industries, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai announced the establishment of an Electronic Manufacturing Cluster in Village Patewa, Rajnandgaon district, on 322 acres with Rs 350 crore, a Special Manufacturing Cluster in Village Bijetala, Rajnandgaon district, on 50 acres with Rs 25 crore, a Readymade Garment Park on 20 acres in Naya Raipur with Rs 30 crore, and a Furniture Cluster on 30 acres in Naya Raipur itself with Rs 40 crore. Thus, a total of 4 smart industrial parks will be established at a cost of Rs 445 crore. A favorable and positive environment will be created for the development of industries in Chhattisgarh state.

    On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and said that the silver jubilee year is being celebrated on the completion of 25 years of the formation of the state of Chhattisgarh. The industries will develop better with the new industrial policy of the state and the state will develop rapidly. The newly appointed Chairman of CSIDC, Shri Rajiv Agrawal, said that the industrial policy of the state will play an important role in making it a developed state. Recently, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of semiconductor products in Naya Raipur. Shri Rajiv Agrawal, as the Chairman, spoke about discharging his duties with full devotion.

    On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Cabinet Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Member of Parliament Shri Brijmohan Agrawal and Shri Vijay Baghel, MLA Shri Dharam Lal Kaushik, Shri Kiran Singh Deo, Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Rajesh Munat, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Anuj Sharma, Doman Lal Korsewada, Mayor of Raipur Smt. Minal Choubey, President of Zila Panchayat Raipur Shri Naveen Agrawal, Former Speaker of the Assembly Shri Gaurishankar Agrawal, Secretary of Industry Department Shri Rajat Kumar, Managing Director of CSIDC Shri Vishesh Kumar, President of Chhattisgarh Steel Re-rollers Association Shri Sanjay Tripathi, Secretary Shri Banke Bihari Agrawal, President of Chhattisgarh Mini Steel Plant Association Shri Ashok Kumar Agrawal, President of Chhattisgarh Sponge Iron Manufacturing Association Dr. Manish Kumar Mandal along with Chairman of Corporation, Mandal Board and other dignitaries were present.
