Raipur. Former MLA Vikas Upadhyay has written a letter to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai regarding the additional expenditure being incurred in purchasing books in private schools in Chhattisgarh. Upadhyay has demanded pricing of books from class 1 to 8 in private schools citing the economic status of middle and lower class families of the state.
Vikas Upadhyay has written in his letter that the order has recently been issued for pricing books from class 1 to class 8 in private schools by the collector of Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh, in which ₹ ₹ ₹ from 1 to 2, ₹ 800, ₹ 900 for Class 3 to 4, ₹ 1000 for Class 3 to 4, ₹ 1000 and Class 6 to 8 have been ensured of ₹ 1200, they have also given the same amount of books in Chhattisgarh. Have requested the head of the state.
Upadhyay said that in today’s era, inflation is at its peak, due to which the families of middle and lower class students of Chhattisgarh are facing extreme financial burden. If this system is implemented, then the parents of Chhattisgarh will undoubtedly get a direct benefit and it will be a decision of a public interest.
