Forest Minister Shri Akbar performed Bhoomipujan of new Panchayat building in Magarwada village

Magarwada, a big forestry village of tribal and Baiga dominated Bodla development block of Kabirdham district, will soon get a new Panchayat building. Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar performed bhoomi pujan of new gram panchayat building of Magarwada Panchayat today. The panchayat building here was dilapidated. The demand for the construction of a new Panchayat Bhawan was being made by the villagers for a long time. On this occasion, Minister Shri Akbar also inspected the net safe horticulture sapling planted by farmer Shri Kanhaiya Singh Pandaram. Appreciating the hard work of Mr. Kanhaiya, he said that many schemes are being run by the Agriculture Department of the State Government to encourage farmers to take cash crops and promote horticulture. Special tests and guidance are also being given to the agriculture and horticulture officers by contacting the farmers. He also distributed Kodo Beach to the farmers after inspecting Net Safe Horticulture. On this occasion, Bodla Janpad Panchayat President, Representative Shri Prabhati Markam and Shri Neelkanth Chandravanshi, Kalim Khan, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Shri Anand Kumar, Municipal Vice President Shri Jameel Khan, Councilor Shri Pramod Lunia and villagers were present.
