Forest, Transport, Housing and Climate Change Minister and Kawardha MLA Mr. Mohammad Akbar today presented various works worth Rs.10 crore for the development of Kabirdham district. Addressing the minister, Mr. Akbar said that tourism facilities will expand after fulfilling the demand of construction of road from Kawardha to Bhoramdev temple, a place of major archaeological, religious, tourist and historical importance of the state. Good road facilities will be available for the tourists coming from different districts of the state. He said that every effort was being made under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to expand all the tourism facilities of Kabirdham district. 12 crore development works have been done for the development of Tribal Tourism Circle at Sarodhadadar above Chilfi Valley, a major tourist destination of the district, which is giving a new direction to the proper development of tourism facilities in the state. Minister Shri Akbar said that today’s Bhoomipujan of 7 different works has further added to the development of the district. Member of Chhattisgarh Shakambhari Board, Shri Hari Patel while appreciating the efforts of Minister Shri Akbar for giving a new direction to the proper development of places of archaeological importance in Kabirdham district and district, said that this will give more fame to the tourism of the district in the coming times. . Kawardha Municipality President Shri Rishi Sharma said that he expressed his gratitude on behalf of Kawardha Nagar Palika for the gift of access road from Kawardha to Bhoramdev temple. Upgradation work of 16 km road from Kawardha to Bhoramdev temple, 10 culverts and 5.44 km drain will be constructed Cabinet Minister Shri Akbar today approved 10 crore rupees for 6 gram panchayats of Kawardha Vidhan Sabha and 6 gram panchayats of Kawardha assembly through virtual from his Raipur residence. 7 different works approved at the cost of Virtual Bhumi Pujan. In this Bhoomipujan work, the main archaeological, religious, tourist and historical importance of Chhattisgarh, the Bhoramdev temple access road is included. Upgradation work of 16 km road from Kawardha to Bhoramdev temple is included. For the expansion of tourism facilities, as per the wishes of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and with the efforts of Cabinet Minister and Kawardha MLA Mr. Mohammad Akbar, the road has been approved for this at a cost of Rs. 9 crore 60 lakh. In this road upgradation work, 10 nos. of culverts and 5.44 km of drain will be constructed. Shri Akbar performed bhoomi pujan of 6 works sanctioned at a cost of Rs 50 lakh under Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojna in 5 gram panchayats of Bodla Janpad Panchayat. In this work, Rs.16 lakh 85 thousand for two works in village Lenjakhar, Rs.16 lakh 31 thousand for one work of village Mandlatola, Rs.4 lakh 37 thousand for one work of village Rochan, for one work of village Sarekha. 8 lakh 15 thousand rupees and 4 lakh 39 thousand rupees are included for 1 work of Gram Panchayat Chimra.
