During the difficult times of Corona, when all the activities had come to a halt, there was a problem of livelihood, then the relief decision of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel changed Digvijay’s life. Compassionate appointment gave him financial support and now his family’s financial condition is improving.
Digvijay Kaushik’s father, Shri Ishwar Prasad Kaushik, a resident of village Mangala in the district, was working as the head reader in the Pre-Secondary School, Saida. He died suddenly in an accident in the month of February 2019. After the death of his father, Digvijay had applied for compassionate appointment to the District Education Officer’s office, but there was no third class post in the compassionate quota, so his application was pending for two years. On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, during the Corona period, CG. After the relaxation of 10 percent limit in the quota of compassionate appointment by the government till 31 May 2022, he got an opportunity to be appointed on the post of Assistant Grade 3. Digvijay received the appointment letter from the collector on 2 June 2021. On June 11, 2021, he took charge as Assistant Grade 3 in Government High School Dhaunrabhatha Development Block Kota. Digvijay completed his B.Com. After the degree of PGDCA, ITI and D.Ed. Digvijay told that he used to do private job but his income was very less. Therefore, after the death of his father, he left this job and applied for compassionate appointment. His financial condition was deteriorating day by day while waiting for the job. There are 3 sisters and grandmother in the family whose responsibility is also on her. Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister, he said that it was because of his sensitive decision that he got this job.
