Financial assistance of Rs 36 lakhs has been approved for 09 families suffering from natural calamity.

Under the provisions of Revenue Book Circular 6-4, Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar has sanctioned financial assistance of Rs.36 lakh to 09 families suffering from natural calamities and accidents. In this, Mangalsai, a resident of Tehsil Jagdalpur village, Chhote Kavali, died due to drowning in water, nephew Shri Ramlal Baghel, resident of Tehsil Bastar village Sudhapal died of snake bite, daughters Kumari Gauri Kunjam, Kumari Raveena Kunjam and Phoolkumari Kunjam, resident of village Mundagaon, Nitesh. Baghel’s father Shri Santosh Baghel died of drowning in water, Mangal Ram, resident of village Gumga Kungarpal, wife of Mrs. Jhunki Kashyap died of drowning in water, Gombati, resident of Tehsil Darbha village Chingpal, died of drowning in water to father Shri Boti, village Tirathgarh Resident Muya dies of snake bite to wife Mrs. Lakhmi, village Chhindwara resident Kumari Sujata Baghel dies of snake bite father Mr. Sahanu, tehsil Lohandiguda village Dabpal resident Sukman dies of drowning in water to wife Mrs. Guneshwari and village Marenga resident Naniram Mother Mrs. Mongri was sanctioned financial assistance amounting to Rs. 4 lakh each due to snake bite.
