The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management of the Government of Chhattisgarh grants financial assistance to the victims of natural disasters through the District Collector. In Baloda Bazar and Raigad district, financial assistance of Rs 24 lakh has been sanctioned to the victims in 6 cases.
Under the provisions of the Revenue Book Circular, financial assistance of four lakh rupees to the kin of the victims of the death of Krishna Yadav, resident of village Sonpur of Dharamjigarh Tehsil of Raigad district, due to drowning in water and the death of Ganpat Korwa of village Ganeshpur Sisringa due to snake bite. Has been approved. Similarly, Sahadeva Kurmi of village Jhabdi of Kasdol tehsil of Baloda Bazar, Rajbai Kanwar of village Arjuni and Dhananjay of village Kumhari died due to drowning in water and Meghnath Gaur of village Sabaria Dera died due to snake bite. Financial assistance of four lakh rupees has been sanctioned to family members.
