Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh grants financial assistance to the victims of various natural disasters through the District Collector. Financial assistance of Rs 16 lakh has been approved in four similar cases in Jashpur district.
Under the provisions of the revenue book circular, Somru Vishwakarma of village Kolhenjharia of Farsabhar development block of Jashpur district, Flora Khalko of Farsabhar and Jageshwar of village Borokona of Manora development block died due to snakebite. Assistance has been approved. Similarly, on the death of Manoj Yadav of village Samadma of Farsabhar Development Block, financial assistance of four lakh rupees has been sanctioned to the families of the victims of the deceased.
